Frequent Flyer Programmes
I am an unashamed mileage slave! 2007 was the first time I really started to think about miles, and the first time I achieved “status” with an airline, and because it was with American Airlines I suddenly had status with all the Oneworld Alliance airlines. A whole new world was opening up to me. I looked forward to going to the airport, even if I was flying in economy, I could live like the rich and famous for a while, checking in at the Business class counters, getting my Fast Track pass, and once through security heading to the lounges with their comfy chairs, free wifi, snacks and of course champagne! It makes flying so much more enjoyable, and I make no excuses, I am a sucker for a bit of luxury. If you travel frequently and are not collecting miles, why not?
